A Simple Exercise For Chakra Meditation
Chakras are integrated with Reiki in Western countries. Seven unique chakras constitute the body from the root (perineum) to the crown (top of head). The main purpose of working with chakras is to feel and create energy in you and other around. Meditating regularly will activate and maintain the energy levels in the body.Meditating on chakras is usually performed as a group during a Reiki circle or in Reiki classes, but you can also try it on your own.To know and maintain the energy levels in the body, meditate the chakras regularly.
Follow the simple exercise:
1. Find a calm and neat place to sit comfortable to meditate.
2. Take deep breath and concentrate on it in and out to release tensions from the mind and body.
3. Start the meditation from the root (perineum) chakra. Visualize and 
focus on red color while concentrating on the chakra for few minutes. 
This focus on root chakra will create a relationship between you and 
earth. 
4.Go to the next level of sacral chakra (between genitals and navels). 
Visualize the color orange. Stay at your sacral chakra for a few 
minutes.This chakra will create an immersed situation in creative 
juices. 
5. Third chakra, focus on solar plexus chakra (between navel and chest 
part of the body). Visualize and focus on yellow color and concentrate 
on the chakra for few minutes.This will create a unique power deep in 
you. 
6. Next is the heat chakra at the center of chest. Picturize and imagine
 on green color and remain for few minutes. This chakra will make you 
feel the power of love. 
7. Fifth chakra, focus on throat chakra (throat). Imagine blue color and
 focus for couple of minutes on the throat chakra.This chakra creates 
special vibrations in body. 
8. Sixth chakra, focus on third eye chakra (forehead [center part]). 
Picturize and imagine on indigo color and remain for few minutes.See 
your vision expanding. 
9. Go to your crown chakra (the top of your head).Picturize and imagine 
on violet color and remain for few minutes. Crown chakra will create a 
bond within your spirit. 
10. Now, let the energy generated at the crown chakra flow downwards to 
root chakra. When energy flows down, you will be enlightened with an 
aura. 
11. Now, let the energy flow from the bottom to the top to the crown chakra.
