What is Rieki? Reiki, is the name given to a form of energy healing, and consists of two Japanese words. First one is Rei which means Universal Spirit and the second one is Ki which means Life Energy. Putting the tow in one word, it becomes the Universal Life Energy which is all around us. a natural healing system which is evolved in Japan by Dr. Usui who had a vision to develop this healing system from ancient teachings after many years of research and meditation.

We are proud to offer Reiki Courses, Classes and Treatments by a Master Reiki Practitioner whoes upliner is Dr Usui the founder of the Reiki system.

Why Reiki for healing? Definitely, as it reduces stress, relieves pain, improves health and quality of life, and heals physical and emotional ailments.

Its spiritual aspect is believed to promote harmony, self-awareness, creativity and mental clarity.

The U.S. National Institutes of Health is currently undertaking a study to discover if reiki affects disease progression and anxiety in newly diagnosed prostate cancer patients.

As per a preliminary study done at the University of Alberta, Canada, reported in 2003 in the Journal of Pain & Symptoms Management, that cancer patients had increased pain control and quality of life when reiki was added to standard medications.

One must be attuned by a Reiki Master who can show a lineage back to Mikao Usui to become a Master Himself or Herslef. By doing so, the qualified, attuned student adds his name in turn to that lineage.

I was trained as a Reiki Master, under the Usui System of Natural Healing, by one of the most renowned and respected masters in England. I was taught, and teach, the traditional form of Reiki including many Japanese techniques, as passed on by Dr. Usui and can trace my lineage back to him. I teach all levels of Reiki, from First Degree to Master Degree. I first began healing 15 years ago before choosing to study Reiki in 1996. Following a 2 1/2 year apprenticeship I am fully qualified as a Reiki Master and Teacher.
